I am very glad to be able to wear shoes that have a wide toe box, and that are flexible and comfortable. It is not always easy to find shoes that combine all those three components.
Scrambler mid II looks great. The different colors from the first mid is a welcome addition and it kept the Michelin sole which is a cool collaboration and a good choice for soles.

Excited about the Mid Scrambler II for an upcoming Grand Canyon trip. I pulled out the old pair of hiking shoes I did the Grand Canyon in 20 years ago and was amazed at how heavy and stiff they are! Never again. This will be my second pair of Xero shoes. I also bought the HFS II for the gym and love them.

The Kona’s actually look pretty comfortable. Still super excited for any WP shoes coming down the line, I use the ‘bulky’ Fusion Xcursion boot to play disc golf in the rain but come summer time I want a lighter option that can handle the residual dew left on the ground.

I love the black/asphalt color combo the the Scrambler Mid II WP, but I have to say that a more solid black might be nice. But I might be biased by the fact that all my shoes for work need to be solid black these days.
Lulu lemon (in the past due to the desire to move away from synthetic materials and their quality slipped) was a majority of what I wore, but other than that, I have never had a clothing “monopoly” I think that changed… For my shoes at least. Gotta be honest. I’m a little sad that your only sandal in the new release (the H Trail) is an thong style. While I enjoy the elevated look of the Kona, what I’m really lacking in my shoes right now is a versatile sandal that makes sense for both casual and dressy occasions. The boat shoe style doesn’t work for the majority of my summer dresses and the open sandal style makes me self-conscious about my toes. I would love to see something similar to (or a redesign of) your Phoenix or Cassie, though I get that a women’s dress flat excludes about half your customers.

I got my Dillon Canvas yesterday and I have to say that they feel really good. They are a totally different fit/feel from my Aptos but I think I appreciate having some slip-on variety for the summer. My wife thinks the Dillon Canvas (in Lunar Rock) look much better for summer wear.

I’m already wondering what’s next from Xero for the fall. I don’t think there has been a spring or fall sale without at least one new pair I wanted to buy since my first pair of Xero shoes, which were the Hana several years ago. And I think the Hana is still my favorite style overall – simple and comfortable – but the Dillon Canvas might take that spot!

Finally got to spend a little bit of time in my Scrambler Mid II WP today – I had to exchange the first pair for size and got the exchange pair yesterday. And I would say they fit true to size as had I ordered a half-size larger the first time to account for thicker socks (and was off with that assumption – old habit). They feel good, just a tiny bit stiff
for a Xero shoe, as I would expect for a water proof hiking boot. It will be at least a bit before I get to put some serious miles on them but the initial signs are really good that this will become another favorite pair of Xero shoes..
