Job Title: VP of Internal Operations and IT
Location: Broomfield, CO

Job Summary:

The VP of Internal Operations is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the internal processes of the organization. This role involves leading operational strategy, improving efficiency, driving cross-departmental collaboration, and ensuring that internal functions align with the company’s growth and financial objectives. The Head of Internal Operations will play a critical role in scaling the business, enhancing productivity, and driving innovation in the company’s internal operations to support a revenue base of $75M+.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of core operational departments, including Customer Service, Fulfillment/Distribution, and Digital and IT.

Process Improvement & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance operational efficiencies across departments, implementing systems and processes that improve workflow, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to define and execute long-term strategies that support the company’s growth, scalability, and overall business objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment across the company, fostering a collaborative environment to address operational bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for innovation.

Change Management: Lead initiatives to introduce new technologies, systems, or practices, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in from relevant stakeholders. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and grow the internal operations team, fostering an environment of accountability, professional growth, and operational excellence.

Technology Integration: Oversee IT infrastructure and implement technological solutions that enhance internal processes, data security, and operational performance.

Vendor and Supplier Management: Oversee vendor relationships and ensure that all external partnerships align with operational goals and budget constraints.

Qualifications:

Experience: 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management in a senior leadership role in a similarly sized ($50M–$100M) or larger organization.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.

Pay:

The annual salary for this position ranges between $150,000 – $200,000, DOE.

Job Title: VP Global Supply Chain Operations

Job Summary:

The Vice President of the Global Supply Chain is a tenured footwear executive with e-commerce, international, and wholesale experience who has generated a significant impact through the strategic and tactical leadership of the global supply chain. Responsible for developing and executing the company’s global supply chain strategy and ensuring seamless procurement, production, and on-time product delivery. This leader will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure the organization is equipped to meet its global revenue goals. The VP will enhance efficiencies, reduce costs balanced with quality, and drive innovation across all supply chain functions to support scalability and global competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Supply Chain Strategy: The VP of Global Supply Chain will participate in overall business planning and innovation and must possess the ability to understand the organization’s operational strengths and future capabilities in this area and develop a multi-year roadmap. They will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term business objectives, focusing on cost optimization, quality, efficiency, and scalability.

End-to-End Supply Chain Oversight: This position oversees all functions within the global supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, and transportation.

Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors globally, negotiating terms, managing performance through key vendor scorecards, and standard operating procedures and best practices for performance monitoring while ensuring quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks across the supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and environmental risks. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies across global markets.

Sustainability Initiatives: Champion sustainability efforts by integrating environmentally responsible practices into the supply chain, including reducing carbon footprint, improving energy efficiency, and managing waste reduction programs.

Inventory and Demand Planning: Collaborate with product and marketing teams through the GTM process to understand the demand forecast and inventory availability.

Technology and Innovation: Identify requirements and implement new technologies and systems to drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency throughout the supply chain. Leverage data analytics to improve decision-making and performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as product development, finance, and sales to ensure supply chain strategies support overall business goals and market needs. Facilitate smooth communication and alignment across regions.

Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain functions, including cost, quality, efficiency, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction. Continuously evaluate supply chain performance and implement improvements.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing global supply chain team, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills to support global operations.

Qualifications:

Experience: 7+ years of supply chain management experience in a global leadership role overseeing complex international supply chains. Industry-specific experience (e.g., manufacturing, retail, footwear/apparel) preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Extensive experience in global supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and distribution.

In the Receiving Inventory Specialist role you will report to the Warehouse Receiving-Inventory Manager and be responsible for coordinating cycle counts, managing low-stock inventory and inventory checks, making corrections to inventory and bin locations, and receiving new inventory.

You will use your operational-organizational skills to manage enterprise resource programs and to manage and report inventory data. Building and cultivating relationships and information gathering and investigation is essential to this role.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Control daily inventory activities identifying discrepancies-variance and making exact corrections
  • Coordinate and execute weekly/monthly schedule for cycle counts 
  • Oversee receiving new inventory, including quality control inspections of containers
  • Managing enterprise batch-lot program to support seasonal inventory turns and ensuring FIFO (first in, first out) inventory processes
  • Utilizing the warehouse enterprise resource system and warehouse management system to manage low stock inventory requests and bin location accuracy
  • Manage return inventory and put-away procedures to ensure accurate daily return inventory
  • Maintain replenishment levels in coordination with the receiving/inventory department team, correcting errors created replen processes
  • Organize pickline locations seasonal movement to enable efficient fulfillment procedures 
  • Creating new UPS stickers for product control as necessary
  • Collaborating with the fulfillment, receiving, returns, and wholesale managers to ensure accuracy of inventory and control procedures, including inventory allocations as necessary
  • Collaborating with Customer Happiness team on accessory inventory requests and managing accessory inventory accuracy
  • Collaborating with the Operations department on receiving transportation and logistics
  • Collaborating with the Distribution Operations Manager and Accounting department to forecast inventory and sales volumes
  • Develop procedures to prevent inventory shrinkage 
  • Coordinating special projects as required

Desired Skills:

  • 3-5 years of warehouse, inventory control, and/or management experience
  • Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
  • Prior experience and familiarity with warehouse fulfillment and receiving operations
    • Experience leading functional integration of ERP, WMS systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems
  • High attention to detail, organization, taking initiative and problem solving 
  • Strong employee interest and engagement to advance and promote our workforce
  • Business-level communication skills (oral and written)
  • Basic math skills, analysis experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 

Experience:

  • 3 years or more in warehouse related receiving/shipping/distribution positions
  • 2 year or more years in an inventory analysis and control role

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation

The job is first shift plus and occasional weekend. Our warehouse is located in east Denver near I-70 and Havana. Some of the duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Picking/packing direct-to-consumer orders
  • Fulfilling wholesale and Amazon orders
  • Processing returns and exchanges
  • Unloading shipping container and trailers
  • Sorting and restoring returned product
  • Organizing stock and maintaining inventory
  • Inspecting products for defects and damages
  • Initiating quality control checks on incoming products and outbound shipments

The successful candidate will have at least two (2) years of warehouse experience including warehouse management systems using scanners in a warehouse or shipping environment. Experience with Ship Hero is a plus.

While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature in our warehouses is limited. Indoor warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.

Requirements

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE CAN:

  • Pose for photos or videos showing their face, body, and feet
  • Pose for different activities, including running, hiking, and fitness
  • Pose with other models and pets both in-studio and in public spaces
  • Follow directions from photographers and stylists
  • Communicate with the Photographer and Creative and Content Manager efficiently and effectively throughout the scheduling and shoot process
  • Maintain clean feet and trimmed nails (for our sandal styles)
  • Work closely with us to produce a desired look
  • Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude and represent Xero Shoes professionally
  • Availability for shoots from 2 to 4 hours

Pay for all modeling opportunities is $50/hr and includes a free pair of Xero Shoes
