Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry. We do not recommend putting them in the washing machine or dryer.

Insole issues

I love these shoes. Unfortunately the insole in each foot keeps sliding to the back and exposing the under sole below my toes. Is there anything you recommend for this? I don’t want to have to glue them in place in case I need to replace them at some point. Is this a common issue?

I have hiked with the Scrambler Mid now, several times, across steep and rocky/broken terrain, in anticipation of upcoming exploring in the desert southwest. Having worn barefoot shoes for years now, I have some sense of what is appropriate for my personal comfort - some are simply too thin for this kind of trekking, others are too insular. I have been impressed at the balance of sole padding built into these shoes. Originally they felt pretty insulated from the ground, but with even a few hikes, I can comfortably hike some of the most rugged and stony ground with a feeling for what is underfoot, yet without needing to “tenderfoot” my way. In addition, they are Very comfortable out of the box, quite adjustable for different socks, for descent vs strolling and climbing, etc. And, they seem durable. The soles are quite sticky, lending a pleasant sense of confidence as well. Glad to give these a 5-star rating, and offer my thanks to Xero shoes for continuing to refine the foot-ware experience.

Good for a few months, then just OK

The shoe delivered well in comfort, being lightweight, and protecting my feet. They're impossible to get a bad foot stench out of though, even when repeatedly following the recommended cleaning listed on the website. MOST IMPORTANTLY, for the price I paid, they did not even come close to lasting. I went on a week backpacking trip over average terrain (AT), and wore them regularly for about 7 months. By month two, the mesh had started to fray, and has been developing more and more holes ever since, and not from anything easily explained like kicking a really pointy rock. For $169, they just don't last. For comparison, my $50 Whitin's have seen more use and lasted many months longer with comparable wear. They are a tiny bit narrow around the ball of my foot, is there a way to fix that before buying in the future? Also, maybe I didn't notice in the product description, but I didn't realize until I got them that they're not water resistant at all. They dry fairly quickly and breathe well, so it's not the end of the world. Overall, the shoes are great, but I can't afford to be paying this kind of money for new ones every year or even sooner.
