Caring for your Ashlands

To clean your Ashlands, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry. We do not recommend putting them in the washing machine or dryer.

FAQs

Is the Ashland temperature rated?

We find that temperature ratings aren’t very accurate. They vary greatly depending on environmental factors, like humidity and typical weather (a Tennessee snowstorm is quite different from one in Colorado!)

While the Ashland isn’t temperature rated, it would have a faux-shearling collar and heat-reflective insole to help keep your feet warmer!

Is the Ashland Waterproof?

It’s not. But the Ashland’s hemp canvas upper can be treated to provide additional water resistance.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

Love these boots

I love these boots!!! I have the purplish ones and I absolutely adore them. I wear my Gracie’s when it rains and these the rest of the time. I would LOVE to see them come in a bold, dark red that would fade nicely over time. The snap does come undone periodically but then I transport it and it’s not a problem. My feet are finicky and I am so very grateful for these cozy, comfortable boots that take me everywhere I want to go!

As good as I'd hoped!

I purchased these for an everyday work shoe for winter, and they've worked out so well I have them in two colors now! I normally don't like slip on shoes that pull your socks tight when you put them on, but these are loose enough that this doesn't happen, plus they let your feet breathe a little and are easy to slip off at my desk so my feet don't get too hot. They are reasonable in slushy parking lots in New England as well. Up to the decorative stitching seems pretty waterproof. They seem well made and aren't showing signs of wear after one winter of a lot of use, so I think they'll hold up well over time.

Plenty of room

I really wanted a shoe that had plenty of room to actually allow my feet to do what they are suposed to and not be all compacted. These are the answer. I think it's so much better for my health. Thanks for contributing to happier feet.

Purchased Minimalist Boot - love it - will purchase again. Ashland - order 1/2 larger - length ok. Width is very wide. When pulling on adjustment strap boots wrinkle. Concerned about lasting quality of strap and that the snap will remain in place. Disappointed in this style.
