Product Description

“The TerraFlex II is sturdy and protective against outdoor terrain. I really like it for running sprints and up hills and dirt trails. It’s a really great outdoor shoe.” – Chase B.

The TerraFlex II is an update to the best-selling original featuring a more abrasion and water-resistant upper — with no sacrifices to any of the trail-gripping traction, secure fit, and all-day comfort that people loved about the TerraFlex.

FEEL CONNECTED TO YOUR WORLD WHEN YOU RUN OR HIKE IN THE TERRAFLEX II

SECURE, TRAIL-GRIPPING COMFORT.

Whether you’re running, hiking, or simply taking a casual stroll off the beaten path, the TerraFlex II helps you feel more connected to the ground beneath your feet.

The rugged 6.5mm FeelTrue® sole, including 4mm lugs for confident traction, provides the perfect combination of protection and ground feel for any off-road activity. The embedded 3mm layer of TrailFoam™ provides added comfort and protection and the toe bumper helps guard against unexpected bumps you encounter along your way.

Finally, our huarache-inspired heel cinch and mid-foot webbing remain fully adjustable, giving you a secure and stable fit throughout your adventure, while the iconic wider toe box lets your toes splay and flex to empower your stride.

LIGHTWEIGHT PROTECTION THAT FEELS JUST RIGHT.

At just 9.6 oz each for a men’s size 9, the TerraFlex II is even lighter than the original, placing it just between our ultra-lightweight Mesa Trail running shoe and the multi-purpose DayLite Hiker Fusion boot. This is one hiking shoe that won’t slow you down, keeping you going from trailhead to summit.

WE MAKE HIKING SHOES SO COMFORTABLE, YOU’LL FORGET THEY’RE EVEN ON.

If your feet don’t feel as good at the end of the day as they did in the beginning, you haven’t tried the TerraFlex II.

Life-changing comfort and superior performance come from letting your feet do what’s natural – bend, move, flex and feel.

All Xero Shoes feature a wider, foot-shaped toe box that lets your toes spread and relax, a non-elevated “zero drop” heel for proper posture, low-to-the-ground design for perfect balance and agility, and a flexible sole that gives you “just right” protection so you can bend, move, flex, and safely Feel the World® in total comfort.

The TerraFlex is our first shoe designed for trails. With a rugged, stitched upper, it’s great for running and hiking.

The Mesa Trail is made more specifically for trail running, with a lightweight breathable mesh upper, extra moisture wicking lining, and a protective welded covering for the adjustable midfoot and instep straps.

Both shoes have a grippy, lugged, dual-chevron tread, and a 3mm TrailFoam layer (“hiding” in the outsole) for just-right protection and comfort.

best shoes ever!

I got temperamental feet to say the least. The side quest of my entire adult life has been searching shoes that don't feel like torture devices. the terraflex II have earned their position on a very short list of shoes I'm glad to wear and will buy again

Great hikers

This is my 4th pair of Xero shoes, my others being regular running shoes and sandals. These work great! Similar comfort and feel as my other Xeros, just with a bit more tread. I’ve worn them on a few hikes, and they’ve performed great which is what I expected from Xeros when I bought them. I’m sure I’ll buy another pair when I wear these out.

Zero Shoes

Too thin and flimsy not enough support for me.

Good traction and durable

I went through 3 pairs of Mesa Trails: all wore through part of the sole (hollow lugs wore off, exposing insole), and I replaced one pair with the Terraflex II: different sole design (less likely to prematurely break), fit is similar to the Prio, better traction in mud and snow, overall more protective without losing the ground-connection expected from Xero. Will definitely buy again.

Decent, not my favorite

Fit is good, what I've come to expect from Xero shoes with plenty of toe room, great flexibility. Why I won't be purchasing again: The tread pattern! The flat heel and spread of the tread makes this shoe slippery in mud and on wet guam concrete. That's most of the terrain so it's relegated to dog walking (can't trust them to run in)
