Caring for your Ashlands

To clean your Ashlands, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry. We do not recommend putting them in the washing machine or dryer.

FAQs

Is the Ashland temperature rated?

We find that temperature ratings aren’t very accurate. They vary greatly depending on environmental factors, like humidity and typical weather (a Tennessee snowstorm is quite different from one in Colorado!)

While the Ashland isn’t temperature rated, it would have a faux-shearling collar and heat-reflective insole to help keep your feet warmer!

Is the Ashland Waterproof?

It’s not. But the Ashland’s hemp canvas upper can be treated to provide additional water resistance.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

Great bootie!

I momentarily lost my mind and bought orthopedic shoes after wearing Xeros. Result? Shin splints, aching hip, etc. So I came back to barefoot with the Ashland and what a great boot, warm and full contact with the ground. I live in northern New Mexico and walk my dog before sunup when it’s very cold, and my feet stay nice and warm. Highly recommended!

Love them!!!

These boots far surpassed my expectations. They are cute, extremely comfortable, and I can walk all over the city with them - as in the entire day - in complete comfort. They blow away all of my trail shoes and walking shoes and keep my feet the perfect temperature. Wish we had a bigger color selection, but then I’d probably buy too many.

Finally boots I can walk in!

I am a special needs customer. I don't have kneecaps and waking in shoes or boots with any heel is nearly impossible for me. Thankfully, Xero shoes has a line of boots! I bought a pair of Ashland boots and am so glad I did. I can walk in them and they're warm. Thank you, Xero Shoes!

I could not get the Sunrise over my heel. So frustrated with the Sunrise, looking at the Ashland I did not even try that with all the straps.
