Isaiah Stewart’s New Limited Edition Colorway: ‘Warrior Red’ Barefoot Basketball Shoe

NBA Power Forward Isaiah Stewart and his partner, Xero Shoes, launch an exclusive, limited edition X1 Warrior Red colorway, dropping October 22, 2025. The collaboration reflects Stewart’s on-court mentality in a barefoot basketball shoe that embodies peak performance: lightweight, flexible and responsive with natural movement design.  “I’m hyped to finally bring the ‘Warrior Red’ to life with Xero Shoes, who has been such an incredible partner to me," Stewart said. "This colorway represents everything I play for: toughness, pride, and never backing down. I love how Xero Shoes captured that spirit in a shoe that feels like me." “The Warrior Red colorway is inspired by Isaiah’s tenacious, defensive presence on the court,” says Xero Shoes Design Director, Kristina Funck. “The outsole's red detailing, radiating from the forefoot, signifies power and mirrors the advantages of natural movement. We wanted the shoe to move like Isaiah does: grounded and explosive.” For the 2024-25 season, Stewart surprised many by partnering with the barefoot brand Xero Shoes. A long-time wearer of barefoot shoes, he wore the X1 in games and training last season and will continue this year. Stewart may be seen in two additional custom colorways this season, exclusive to him: “Stewart Shutdown,” a silver/white colorway symbolizing his defensive abilities to shut down opponents, and “Rastafarian Roots,” featuring the colors of the Jamaican flag as a tribute to his heritage. A Barefoot Basketball Shoe The Xero Shoes X1 is the first-of-its-kind barefoot basketball shoe with a lightweight, barefoot design consisting of a wide toe box and zero-drop, flexible sole that lets players move naturally on the court.  The Warrior Red colorway drops October 22 at xeroshoes.com, limited quantities available.
