Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry. We do not recommend putting them in the washing machine or dryer.

What’s different between TerraFlex and Mesa Trail?

The TerraFlex is our first shoe designed for trails. With a rugged, stitched upper, it’s great for running and hiking.

The Mesa Trail is made more specifically for trail running, with a lightweight breathable mesh upper, extra moisture wicking lining, and a protective welded covering for the adjustable midfoot and instep straps.

Both shoes have a grippy, lugged, dual-chevron tread, and a 3mm TrailFoam layer (“hiding” in the outsole) for just-right protection and comfort.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

Good shoes!

Other reviewers have said they’re too stiff for running, which might be true. But I walk and hike and prefer soft, gentle, non-stiff shoes for that. These were great on a trip with several day hikes — comfortable and not at all too stiff. Xero should use different laces because these are the slippery kind that doesn’t stay tied, but of course that’s easily remedied.

Work,walk and Love these shoes

I work outside - wildlife management. These are my second pair of Mesa Trail WP shoes. I wore them all winter in the rain and mud. So happy to find a waterproof dog walking, work and all around comfy shoe.

My first disappointing Xero shoe 🙁

Ordering, size, shipping all good, as usual. I have Xero shoes for every season and trail type, and I wore out a similar pair to these but not waterproof a couple years ago. Loved them. This pair not so much. There is a tension at the base of the tongue that just won't loosen up, and they give me heel blisters every time I hike or run in them. I have tried them without inserts to eliminated the tightness on top of both feet, have tried different types of socks, worn them for short periods to break them in, etc. Today I admitted defeat after walking back down the trail in my socks. How could these be so different than all my other Xeros? I've worn them too much to return them, but I won't wear them again. Bummed. Three stars because I appreciate you guys. But a sad review because this pair is a dud for me.

Best hiking shoes ever

These hiking shoes are amazing. Slippery rocks - no problem in these. I was so impressed with the grip and how extremely comfortable these shoes are!! Highly recommend this brand!!!
