Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry. We do not recommend putting them in the washing machine or dryer.

What’s different between TerraFlex and Mesa Trail?

The TerraFlex is our first shoe designed for trails. With a rugged, stitched upper, it’s great for running and hiking.

The Mesa Trail is made more specifically for trail running, with a lightweight breathable mesh upper, extra moisture wicking lining, and a protective welded covering for the adjustable midfoot and instep straps.

Both shoes have a grippy, lugged, dual-chevron tread, and a 3mm TrailFoam layer (“hiding” in the outsole) for just-right protection and comfort.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

I absolutely love that these are waterproof. No more sloshy feet when I’m walking in wet/dewy grass. Could these be made as a slip on? I am spoiled with your slip on shoes, specifically the Kona and Pagosa. I have my sights on the Dillon slip on next.

Love the shoes. Where is customer service?

I love the waterproof aspect of these shoes. They became my official winter shoes last year when I discovered that they were warmer and more comfortable than any winter boot I have ever owned. Unfortunately, when I tried to contact customer service by phone and then by email when I was sent to automated message purgatory, I have yet to receive a reply to a very simple question about how to better protect the shoes from eventually forming cracks in the soles

Shoes are very uncomfortable

The toebox area is way to small. My little toe got a blister and the side of my big toe was hurting bad. I first wore them a few hours then two days later went to the zoo. I wished I never put them on. I tried now for almost three weeks to get ahold of someone at the company to ask what to do what them but no one is responding. I sent a couple of emails but nothing. Very unhappy.

Mesa Trail WP

Love them! I’m 67 and started running a little bit when we were required to work for home during COVID. I am still fully remote - live in the mountains - and have almost never worn shoes for 5 years. I wanted something I can work out in and go for a lunchtime run. I had no idea about barefoot running and minimalist shoes until I bought these, my 3rd pair, and started reading your website. I read Born to Run too. There is no turning back now. I have walked miles in these and my Prio Neo. I am hoping to get out and try these water resistant shoes this winter I also have the Pagosa which have replaced wearing socks for shoes! I’m really considering running more during the winter along with skiing and snowshoeing. Cycling is mostly my thing but maybe I’ll try a duathlon next summer. Never too old! I’m so glad you are out there

Cute but uncomfortable

I like the style of these shoes. I was looking for some casual, everyday shoes, and i think these will work. They are just too uncomfortable. There isn’t enough room in the toe box for my toes to spread out. When I wore them for the first time, both pinky toes rubbed against the inside of the shoe and turned red. Unfortunately, I can’t return them since I’ve already worn them outside.
