Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry. We do not recommend putting them in the washing machine or dryer.

What’s different between TerraFlex and Mesa Trail?

The TerraFlex is our first shoe designed for trails. With a rugged, stitched upper, it’s great for running and hiking.

The Mesa Trail is made more specifically for trail running, with a lightweight breathable mesh upper, extra moisture wicking lining, and a protective welded covering for the adjustable midfoot and instep straps.

Both shoes have a grippy, lugged, dual-chevron tread, and a 3mm TrailFoam layer (“hiding” in the outsole) for just-right protection and comfort.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

Mesa Trail fantastic

Just wore my new Mesa Trail shoes after it rained. They are incredibly comfortable and kept my feet dry !! Exactly why I bought them !

Fantastic!

Best shoe I’ve ever owned. It took my wife buying me a pair of the Prios and wearing them for a while to really get what the barefoot shoe thing was all about. The only thing that bugged me was they weren’t waterproof which can be problematic in the PNW. These shoes are everything. They have a slightly thicker sole and my feet stay dry. Hands down best shoe!

First Xero Shoes Ever

I'd been intrigued by Xero Shoes for years ever since I saw a YouTube ad on it. I finally mustered the money and the diligence to get my first pair since I was waiting for a waterproof walking shoe (you can definitely run in this but I don't run much). I've only been wearing them about a week and I can already tell they're going to be my only brand of shoe going forward. I absolutely love being bare foot and always have. I opted for the version of the sole that provides a little more protection and less ground-feel and I now really want to try the one with more ground-feel. Being able to maneuver my toes to my terrain and feel the ground when I step.. It takes me back to being a kid and playing outside, which is insane to me. That, and the fact these are waterproof, means I can walk pretty much everywhere in the PNW and feel like a kid again. It's worth the stiffness the waterproof sealant gives these shoes - it's honestly not even a problem for me in the first place. If you're anything like me and want barefoot feel, buy a xero shoe. If you want to wear it year round, definitely buy waterproof. I'm going to get sandals and boots from here too when I can manage it. No question.
