Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry. We do not recommend putting them in the washing machine or dryer.

What’s different between TerraFlex and Mesa Trail?

The TerraFlex is our first shoe designed for trails. With a rugged, stitched upper, it’s great for running and hiking.

The Mesa Trail is made more specifically for trail running, with a lightweight breathable mesh upper, extra moisture wicking lining, and a protective welded covering for the adjustable midfoot and instep straps.

Both shoes have a grippy, lugged, dual-chevron tread, and a 3mm TrailFoam layer (“hiding” in the outsole) for just-right protection and comfort.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

Excellent all around off-road shoe

Maybe the closest I’ve found to a perfect go-everywhere off-road shoe. Comfy as always, grippy lugs that are not over-sized, and I love having a light waterproof shoe. They do breathe less than other Xero’s, but that’s to be expected and a small price to pay.

Fantastic minimal shoe - solid build

Upgraded from trail gloves and the quality is 10x better and the lugs will last. Two downside is the top fabric above the toes is quite thick so for the first 8-9 runs it folded harshly in a single spot and hits the top of the toes. Even on walks. Finally starting to soften at mile 60. Lastly the sizing 11 to 11.5 is a pretty big jump. Usually find half sizes allow me to find the perfect spot but 11 is too tight and 11.5 too big. Just thought it was odd. With all that being said these are still my favourite minimal shoes i have ever worn - great big toe box, minimal sole yet sturdy enough to run on gravelly/rocky trails, and the quality seems to be leaps and bounds above my Merel’s.

The most comfortable shoes!

I love them! It's hard for me to walk in built up shoes anymore - I'm so much more stable in Zero shoes and I want to get the boots soon! I have two pair of Zero shoes now and will continue to buy them!

"WP" stands for waterproof

I live in Western Washington State which lives up it its rainy reputation 3 seasons out of the year. I'm a daily walker who doesn't enjoy wet feet, but I love Xero Shoes, so I went for the "WP" after "Mesa Trail". The experience wearing the Mesa Trail WP is not exactly as free and comfortable as the other three Xero Shoes I own. Being a waterproof shoe made for hiking requires a protective toe guard, waterproof material for the upper body of the shoes, and sturdier soles for hiking trails. All of these attributes serve to stiffen the shoes (you can't twist them like in the ads). I like what I call the "road-feel" of my other Xeros, it's the texture of walking over gravel and your feel feeling its lumpiness without pain. Although there is road-feel, it is not as satisfying as it is in other Xeros. The toe box feels hemmed in by the toe guard and its shape is not as toe splaying as other Xeros. Do they serve their purpose? Yes, I can walk in the rain and not get my feet soaked.

Still Don’t Have Them

Unfortunately, after ordering these weeks ago, I still don’t have them. I was shipped the wrong shoes and still can’t ship them back in order to get the correct shoes. I can’t review the shoes but I can give the customer service team zero stars. They’ve been extremely slow or no responsive to my calls/emails. I’ve never had such a poor and frustrating experience.
