Caring for your Nexus Knit

To clean shoes with a soft-bristled brush and dry detergent:

Remove loose dirt with a soft cloth.
Mix a little water with the white dry detergent
Use soft-bristled brush, dipped in water to gently scrub shoes.
Gently wipe away excess detergent with a dry cloth.
Repeat until satisfied.
Air dry shoes completely.

Please note:

White shoes can get dirty! Please use dry detergent as needed.
We do not recommend putting the Nexus in the washing machine or dryer.

FAQs

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We’ve sold Xero Shoes to people in more than 85 countries around the world.
We use the US Postal service to send our shipments. The cost to ship will depend on the weight of the package and the delivery speed you select; several options will be provided at checkout.

All domestic shipments come with tracking. Limited tracking is available for some first class international shipments depending on the country, and full tracking is available with all Priority Express and Express International shipments.

Though almost all of our international orders arrive without incident, we strongly advise you to select Priority Express International or Express International if you live in a country with a less reliable postal service, including (but not limited to) India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and Indonesia. We cannot guarantee delivery of packages shipped using First Class International.

International delivery can take anywhere from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on how long your order spends in customs at the border.

Please note that some countries do require the payment of import duties for international shipments above a certain value. We advise you to know the import regulations of your country and understand that you will be responsible for payment of any duties and fees imposed by your government at the border.

All packages will be marked as merchandise; as a commercial shipper, we are not able to mark a package as a gift (if you’re giving Xero Shoes as a gift, that’s not the same as us sending a gift).

Better than Vivos!

Absolutely love these shoes! I have worn the Vivobarefoot knits, but the soles kept ripping off at the toes so I tried these, and they are WAY better! They are so well-made. The fit is great—they seem to have a wider toe box than Vivos and don't rub in weird places. I take the inserts out, but if you kept them in, they are super comfy and breathable. I will say, the soles of these shoes are actually solid. I was expecting more of a sock feel at first, but it is much more shoe-like. You can actually hear the sole tapping when you walk, so it's much more sturdy than my vivos. Because of this they are also not AS bendy—still really flexible, just not as much. Personally, I like the soles more, now when I switch back, it makes it so much easier walking on rocks and gravel and hiking in the desert...way less painful and I don't fear as much accidentally jabbing my foot onto a rock. The white is also sparkling white! I was worried the gray bit would look weird, but it's super light and more silvery than is pictured. They look really nice! Overall, 10/10. Glad I switched. I will definitely be getting another pair once I trash these!

Use the sizing template— it works!

These are fantastic for Tai Chi and Qi Gong. I made the mistake of ordering my street shoe size and then used their template to ensure that I exchanged for the right size. The customer service was responsive and helpful and I love my shoes. Highly recommend.

Design is not like the original casual xero shoes

my oswego's are getting a little worn so i came back to look for a new pair as similar to the oswego as it could get. I like the sock fit of the oswego, it is comfortable to wear all day, so i don't use the trekker shoes with the collar to go to work in an office. I realize the nexus is not the oswego: the toe box is narrower, the sole is stiffer and not as cushioning from the bottom up as the oswego, the snugging system is not the same as the oswego (and other original designs like on my trekkers) so i can't get it to keep my feet back in the shoe rather than sliding my toes into the front. It also seems more plasticky and makes clump clump noises when i walk in the office (we have carpeted wood floors) and doesn't seem to "give" as much as the oswego's or the bottom of my feet. I really gave the nexus shoes a chance but they're not even close to the barefoot shoe that the oswego is. Sorry to say, the nexus has got me moving on to another brand. If you could only bring back the oswego...
