We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Coordinator to join our Accounting & Finance Team. The AP/AR Coordinator will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify coding, approvals, and appropriate documentation for all invoices.
  • Prepare and perform weekly payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Generate and send a segment of customer invoices accurately and timely.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Process customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Collections:

  • Monitor and track past due accounts receivable.
  • Contact customers to resolve outstanding payment issues necessary.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline AP/AR processes and improve efficiency.
  • Recommend and implement changes to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of AP/AR procedures and controls.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: The annual salary for this position ranges between $25.00 – 30.00 per hour, DOE. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, and other considerations as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and equity awards.

As the Community Engagement Manager at Xero Shoes, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing our offline community through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, trade shows, training, and events. You will play a crucial role in expanding our brand presence, fostering brand loyalty, and driving engagement among our target audience. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer service teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

These detailed responsibilities outline the specific tasks and activities in each key area, clearly understanding the role’s scope and expectations for potential candidates. 

Partnerships and Sponsorships: 

  • Research and identify potential partners, including outdoor gear retailers, adventure travel companies, fitness studios, and outdoor event organizers.
  • Initiate and maintain ongoing communication with potential partners to explore collaboration opportunities, negotiate terms, and secure mutually beneficial partnerships. 
  • Develop partnership agreements outlining both parties’ expectations, deliverables, and benefits, ensuring alignment with Xero Shoes’ brand values and objectives. 
  • Coordinate the execution of partnership activities, including co-branded promotions, joint events, and collaborative marketing campaigns, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. 
  • Monitor and evaluate partnership performance against predefined KPIs, providing regular updates and insights to internal stakeholders. 

Trade Shows and Events: 

  • Research, evaluate, and select trade shows, expos, and outdoor events relevant to Xero Shoes’ target audience and brand positioning. 
  • Develop comprehensive event strategies to maximize brand visibility and attendee engagement, including booth design, staffing plans, promotional materials, and lead generation tactics.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including booth setup, shipping, travel arrangements, accommodations, and on-site coordination, ensuring seamless execution and a positive brand experience. 
  • Train and support booth staff on product knowledge, brand messaging, and customer engagement techniques to drive sales conversions and foster meaningful interactions with attendees. 
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the effectiveness of participation, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement in future events. 

Training Programs: 

  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training materials, presentations, and resources tailored to the needs of retail partners, distributors, and sales teams.
  • Organize and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars to educate participants on Xero Shoes’ product features, benefits, and unique selling points. 
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure consistent and effective product knowledge transfer, sales techniques, and brand advocacy among external partners and sales channels. 
  • Gather feedback from training participants to assess training effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and continuously refine training programs to meet evolving needs and objectives. 

Community Events and Activations: 

  • Brainstorm, plan, and execute various community events and activations, such as product launch parties, trail running clinics, barefoot walking meetups, and outdoor adventure excursions. 
  • Secure event venues, permits, and necessary resources, coordinating with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure event success and participant satisfaction. 
  • Develop engaging event programming, including guest speakers, product demos, interactive activities, and experiential installations, to create memorable and immersive brand experiences. 
  • Promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, community forums, and partner networks, to drive attendance and generate excitement among target audiences. 
  • Evaluate event outcomes, collect attendee feedback, and analyze metrics to measure event success, identify areas for improvement, and inform future event planning and strategy.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in community engagement, partnerships, or event management roles, preferably within the outdoor industry or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including partners, sponsors, vendors, and customers.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute initiatives within deadlines and budget constraints. 
  • A creative thinker, passionate about outdoor activities, sustainability, and minimalist footwear. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas, influence stakeholders, and present effectively. 

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: The annual salary for this position ranges between $105,000.00 – 145,000.00. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and equity awards.

Xero Shoes is looking for independent models for both studio and lifestyle photos and videos.

Models are needed for:

  • In-studio video wearing product
  • Lifestyle photos out in the world
  • Lifestyle videos out in the world
  • Speaking/acting roles in Xero Shoes marketing videos

As we often do shoots in locations in and around the Denver area, models must have reliable transportation to and from shoots and may be asked to travel to our Broomfield headquarters.

Requirements

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE CAN:

  • Pose for photos or videos showing their face, body, and feet
  • Pose for different activities, including running, hiking, and fitness
  • Pose with other models and pets both in-studio and in public spaces
  • Follow directions from photographers and stylists
  • Communicate with the Photographer and Creative and Content Manager efficiently and effectively throughout the scheduling and shoot process
  • Maintain clean feet and trimmed nails (for our sandal styles)
  • Work closely with us to produce a desired look
  • Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude and represent Xero Shoes professionally
  • Availability for shoots from 2 to 4 hours

Pay for all modeling opportunities is $50/hr and includes a free pair of Xero Shoes

All models must sign a photo/video release form that gives Xero Shoes unlimited usage of their likeness in perpetuity. Models may be required to sign an NDA depending on the shoot.

There are no guaranteed hours at this time. Joining the network is a freelance hourly position with no fixed contract. We often schedule with 1 week or less advance notice.

The job is first shift plus and occasional weekend. Our warehouse is located in east Denver near I-70 and Havana. Some of the duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Picking/packing direct-to-consumer orders
  • Fulfilling wholesale and Amazon orders
  • Processing returns and exchanges
  • Unloading shipping container and trailers
  • Sorting and restoring returned product
  • Organizing stock and maintaining inventory
  • Inspecting products for defects and damages
  • Initiating quality control checks on incoming products and outbound shipments

The successful candidate will have at least two (2) years of warehouse experience including warehouse management systems using scanners in a warehouse or shipping environment. Experience with Ship Hero is a plus.

Whether you are experienced or not, please be sure that you meet the following minimum requirements prior to applying:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • Able to work some overtime hours if needed
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • You are able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products
  • Outstanding attendance record is required
  • Able to safely operate a scissor lift or willing to learn
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate with management
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Able to work while wearing a mask

It’s a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for 90% – 95% of your shift. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature in our warehouses is limited. Indoor warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.

Given the speed at which our company is growing, you also must be able to think fast, wear a lot of hats and adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. We’re a small team so everyone must be willing to pitch in where needed and work together to get things done. Some overtime may be required.
